Storytelling tools:

    Did you know that nowadays, attention span has decreased? With the flow of information being easily accessible in a shorter time our brains have gotten accustomed to getting necessary information in less than 30 seconds. This is where visual storytelling has helped in facilitating the process of retaining information. I remember while taking the course Visual Social Marketing the shock of this information shared and even more surprised when I noticed this within myself. Hence the need of visual storytelling tools to aid facilitate the retention of information. 


Short Story telling format:

    If I were to share this information with just words, you are more likely to forget it, or ignore it. The best way to get this message across it would be best to use graphics with text.










Canva:

     Canva is an online platform where you can edit videos, create presentations and utilize for creating visual communications materials. Its interface is user friendly and makes it accessible for everyone, even those with minimal editing experience.

Pixlr:
    Pixlr is an online tool that helps with creating flyers, editing pictures and AI edits. Below I have attached a mock flyer image I created in Pixlr, which is easy to utilize compared to Adobe Photoshop. 



    Regardless of the app you utilize, I hope you have fun and create very engaging content.
